It would seem that over the past few months we have seen major increases in the prices of fuel here in the UK and I know this to be true across the entire world too but why is this, is there really any major needs to actually put the fuel up so high or are companies simply looking to be greedy.

Time is very quickly running out for oil in the world as reserves are running low and hidden reserves have yet to be found which means the prices for oil are only going to see a massive increase in recent years to come. Because of this fact it would seem that not only the consumers are panicking but many of the oil companies are too and are putting up the prices to try and sway people from actually buying the fuel. The recent recession has certainly given the world a lot of problems when it comes to confidence in buying something big like a new car. Getting a new car is certainly a big thing and a lot of thought process will have to go into this, at it stands at the moment prices are going up every single year despite the companies getting worse off, do they ever learn.

Currently the government has a car scrappage scheme that is going on but this ends at the end of the month so I would expect the prices to rocket in the near future, you will be ripped off very soon. (more…)

A survey has recently come out that states that around half the people they asked would not be getting a new car this year simply because of how quickly the costs of a new car is rising. So what are the costs coming into play this year and is it really too much to stop someone from purchasing a car?

Emission tax is actually going to come into play soon which means for the fuel guzzling cars it could cost around £1,000 more this is pretty silly really, cars are just not going to get purchased. (more…)

The sales of cars has risen by a lot in January but is this because people are feeling the end of the recession or is something else at work?

The Reasons

The amount of sales have really gone up by a lot, 29.8% from the previous year but this will most likely be because the world’s motor industry was in a bit of a state this time last year. The recession has to be the cause of people not buying cars last year,it was not known what the recession would do so they were unprepared to spend money. (more…)

We constantly hear on the news how the motoring industry is suffering badly from the recession. Every week there is a story of how no one is buying new cars because people just aren’t going to buy a new BMW. However, there are sectors of the motoring industry that are doing well, but we never hear about them. (more…)
